The United School District (School District) appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Indiana County, which denied its petition to vacate an arbitration award. In resolving the issue raised on appeal, we are confronted with an unresolved question concerning the appropriate standard by which we review a claim that an arbitrators consideration of the evidence was flawed by an erroneous legal ruling. Because we determine that notwithstanding the error, the ultimate award draws its essence from the parties collective bargaining agreement (CBA), we affirm.
